Overview
Garrick runs e-commerce stores serving two different markets:
🇨🇦 Canada
🇳🇿 New Zealand
Both regions have completely different:
- seasons
- price sensitivity
- consumer expectations
- shipping logic
- product suitability
- sizing systems
He needed someone who understood these differences and could adapt product listings, creatives, and operations accordingly with no micromanagement.
My role was to support him as a full Shopify operator, ensuring both of his stores run smooth, consistent, and optimized for their specific markets.
Shopify Operations (CA & NZ)
What I handled:
• Cleaned and organized the full product catalog
• Set correct CAD/NZD pricing structures
• Managed collections, navigation, and SEO foundations
• Fixed metafields, product data, and alt text
• Ensured clean, consistent layouts across both markets

Product Research (CA & NZ Seasons)
Canada (Fall/Winter):

PDP Optimization

• Rewrote titles and descriptions in CA/NZ tone
• Fixed variants and sizing accuracy
• Aligned size charts for each region
• Added trust badges, star reviews, microcopy
• Optimized mobile layout and scanning flow
